Big Ten men's basketball games have been postponed for the second time this week. Wisconsin and Northwestern announced Thursday night
that their game scheduled for Saturday afternoon in Evanston has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Northwestern schedule.
Both schools will seek an alternate date to play the game.
The Wildcats' Wednesday night game at Iowa was also postponed due to COVID-19 issues with the schedule.
That game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 31. Northwestern is 12–5 overall on the season and 3–3 in Big Ten play.
If all goes well over the next few days, hopefully the Wildcats will be able to return to the court next Tuesday to face Nebraska on the road.
Wisconsin (12-5, 4-3) will be back in more action on the road Wednesday against Maryland.
The Badgers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 63–60 victory over Penn State on Tuesday night.
