Daniel Jones is vying for hardware after this season.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants quarterback was recognized with a unique accolade.

On Wednesday, the team revealed that Nickelodeon named Jones this week's NVP.

The quarterback earned the coveted honor by posting 301 passing yards, 78 rushing yards

and two touchdowns in a 31–24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Jones celebrated with the trophy while wearing a purple chain and Nickelodeon-themed sunglasses.

Giants fans would like to see him hoist a different trophy next month, but he celebrated the accomplishment on a lighter note.

"The greatest honor in all of sports," declared one fan. A Giants fan said, "That's my quarterback."

Another fan said, "That's my quarterback with the drip."

ESPN's Jordan Ranan claimed, "If he wasn't skinny, this wouldn't have happened."

"Danny Dimes? More like Danny Slims amirite?"  another fan joked.

The Cubs made a strong choice, as Jones may have had the best game of his career in the road playoffs.

New York declined to exercise its fifth-year option before the season, but Danny Dimes has blossomed into a franchise quarterback.

He has now given up just six turnovers in 17 games and has completed 71.7 percent of his passes over the past six.

If the 25-year-old stays orange-hot, the Giants may have a chance to shock the Philadelphia Eagles this Saturday night.  The NFC East foes meet at 8:15 p.m.  ET on Fox.
