The 2023 NFL Draft is quickly approaching and some players are starting to generate some more buzz, including Kentucky quarterback Will Lewis.
Lewis is viewed by many pundits as the best quarterback outside of CJ Stroud and Bryce Young,
but not according to ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. He sees Lewis as "that guy" in the draft.
"When you look at Will Lewis, physically, you can picture an NFL quarterback, he's that guy.
The size, the stature, the arm, the way he spins to make every throw, the toughness, beat you."
The ability to deliver his feet. He's a running dual-threat quarterback," Kiper said, (first written by Saturday Down South).
Lewis had a bit of a down year in 2022 after throwing for only 2,406 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
This came after he threw for 2,826 yards, 24 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in the 2021 season. He can play at a high level and has shown it in many games.
The big question will be whether he goes through the first round or whether he slips into the second or third round.
We will find out when the draft is ready on April 27-29.
